Listeners of the radio program Bold Steps can access a new teaching series starting today. The program, produced by Moody Global Media, features Pastor Mark Jobe discussing the topic of financial generosity.
Jobe serves as the founding pastor of New Life Community Church, a multi-campus organization based in Chicago. The church operates more than 25 locations. He also founded New Life Centers, an organization that serves thousands of at-risk youth in the city. Jobe previously held the position of president at Moody Bible Institute.
The new content is titled Living Open-handed and Generous in an Unpredictable World. It is the first part of a series. Jobe opens the episode with a reading from Ecclesiastes chapter 11. He discusses the divine nature of giving within a Christian framework.
The teaching argues that resources given in faith are not wasted. The message suggests that God returns these resources in unexpected ways. The series aims to help believers live with open hands.
Moody Global Media also offers a related gift package titled The Church In Babylon: Heeding the Call to Be a Light in the Darkness. This package features authors Erwin Lutzer and Ed Stetzer.
Mark Jobe shares life and ministry work with his wife, Dee. The radio program provides topical teaching from the Bible. It offers simple gospel messages intended to transform the lives of listeners.
