Temperatures in the Cincinnati area will remain 10 degrees above average through Wednesday due to a weak cold front that is moving later than advertised. The delay keeps the local drought active and extends a streak of dry days.

Early Friday morning, a weak front brought clouds and shifted winds to the north. Afternoon highs reached the low 70s, providing dry and comfortable conditions for high school football playoffs.

Saturday offers mostly cloudy skies with minimal rain chances. Only sprinkles are expected by trick-or-treat time, and afternoon highs will hover around 70 degrees. Residents should set their clocks back before bed, as no jackets or umbrellas are forecast for the holiday.

Sunday will remain mostly cloudy for the Bengals game. A late-day sprinkle is possible, but most areas will stay dry. Temperatures will again reach 70 degrees.

Rain and storms are likely late Wednesday through Thursday, moving in ahead of the cold front. Heavy rain is possible during this window. Temperatures will drop sharply by Friday, with highs reaching only the low to mid 50s by next weekend.
