The Chicago Bears will face the Seattle Seahawks on Monday, and the team has finalized its inactives list ahead of the 7:15 p.m. kickoff. The roster update removes two key players from the field, limiting the Bears' options in the backfield and secondary.
Running back Kyle Monangai is the only player the Bears ruled out before Monday's contest due to injury. He will miss his fourth consecutive game with toe and thumb ailments. Defensive back Malik Muhammad, who was limited in practice by a toe injury, was listed as questionable and will also sit out. Linebacker D'Marco Jackson, dealing with an ankle issue, participated fully in Saturday's practice and will play.
The Bears designated four other players as healthy scratches: quarterback Case Keenum, defensive tackle Jayden Loving, offensive lineman Jordan McFadden, and defensive tackle Jordan van den Berg. These players will remain on the active roster but will not suit up for the game.
Seattle's injury report brings back its primary offensive weapons. Running back Zach Charbonnet was activated for the first time this season. Running back Jadarian Price, who was on injured reserve, is also expected to receive carries. This move returns Seattle's top two rushing options to the field simultaneously.
The Seahawks ruled out wide receiver Rashid Shaheed due to a knee injury. Velus Jones, who has a hamstring injury, and offensive tackle Charles Cross, who has an ankle injury, were ruled out prior to the game. Linebacker Uchenna Nwosu, doubtful with an ankle injury, and defensive tackle Brandon Pili, questionable with a back injury, will not play.
Backup quarterback Drew Lock, questionable with an elbow injury, moves to third-string emergency duty. Jalen Milroe takes over as the primary backup. Linebacker Patrick O'Connell, who had a toe injury, will play. Offensive tackle Charles Cross and offensive guard Beau Stephens are the Seahawks' healthy scratches.
